Based on our raw material fundament, we will initially be developing new feed compositions that will be tested on salmon at different stages of the salmon's lifecycle.

Nutrimar processes all new raw material fresh and without the use of preservatives, this enables the company to produce high quality oils, protein hydrolysates and meals for customers in the pet food and aquaculture sectors. Products from macroalgae are also utilized in the value chain as ingredients for human consumption and pharmaceutical purposes. Research and innovation are a top priority in Nutrimar, where we are continuously looking at investing in product development. In collaboration with NTNU, Nutrimar owns two salmon research licences, which allows for commercial scale testing of our products, with the aim of documenting the effects our products can yield when utilised in feed formulas for salmon in a real-world environment.
