Producing high quality nutritional products is the everyday task at Nutrimar. Research and development are a natural extension of such work, especially concerning process optimisation of the hydrolysis process, as well as product development. Nutrimar has, along with other measures, employed two doctoral fellows who are purposefully working on this together with other resources in the organization. We have developed a number of strong collaborations, both in the academic and industrial sectors to ensure that we are continually learning and improving.
Nutrimar has been granted two R&D salmon licences. These licences will be scientifically utilised in the research and development of our sustainably sourced feed ingredients.
We at Nutrimar feel it’s important to not only testing our products in controlled environments, but to follow up the results obtained here by test our products in “real life scenarios” where a number of factors can influence both fish health and performance. We aim to be a competitive supplier of sustainably sourced, high quality raw materials that can be utilised in the feed sector to replace other less sustainable sourced raw materials. Our unique high-quality products are not only relevant for salmon but can serve a wide range of other fish species as well as utilised in a number of animal and petfood products.
