Nutrimar harvest and processes tangle (Laminaria Hyperborea). Reaping takes place utilising two modern harvesting vessels which are able to harvest the resource in a sustainable way, in accordance to current rules and regulations.
The kelp is transported to Nutrimar’s processing plant on Frøya, then separated and dried. End products therefore being; dried stipes and fronds.

The finished goods are sold on to customers in the ingredient industry who further process the kelp for the food and pharmaceutical sectors. Additionally, the products are sold as feed ingredients in the same market segments in which Nutrimars other business areas operate.
